Falling Skies

Mechanic and I got to talking about that plane that went down somewhere in the nature reserve. Nobody really knows what happened to it. I should track it down and take a look — maybe I'll find something interesting.

Chapter Objectives

Step by Step

1. 1Locate the fallen plane

   The downed plane lies in the east of Woods.

   

   

2. 2Speak to Prapor

   Open the trader screen, go to Prapor and bring up the downed plane with him.

3. 3Reach Loyalty Level 2 with Prapor

   Prapor holds back the rest until you reach Loyalty Level 2 with him. Get there, then raise the plane with him a second time.

4. 4Ask the traders about the fallen plane

   Through the trader screen, put the same question about the plane to Prapor, Therapist, Skier, Mechanic and Jaeger.

5. 5(Optional) Hand over 2,000 USD to Therapist to learn details about the SUV

   This one is optional. Go to Therapist on the trader screen and ask what she knows about the plane; hand her 2,000 USD and she gives up the location of the SUV you are after.

6. 6Retrieve the flash drive from one of the G-Wagon SUVs

   The G-Wagon flash drive sits on the driver's-side running board of the G-Wagon SUV parked beside the Tunnel extract on Shoreline, and must be Found in Raid. Pass it to Prapor through the trader screen.

7. 7Wait for the information from Prapor

   Give it an hour, then go back to Prapor on the trader screen and ask him about the plane.

8. 8Retrieve the plane's flight recorder

   The plane is in eastern Woods, and the Crashed plane's flight recorder lies on its right-hand side, in the broken-open section towards the tail. It has to be Found in Raid. Once you have it, stash it in the destroyed room of the house on the Shoreline island.

9. 9Visit Prapor

   Prapor wants a set of items before he will take things further: 2x Toolset, 3x Rechargeable battery and 5x Printed circuit board, all Found in Raid.

10. 10Wait for the information from Prapor

    Wait three to five hours, then ask Prapor about the plane again through the trader screen.

11. 11Hand over the flight crew's transcript and Elektronik's secure flash drive to Prapor

    Both the Plane crew transcript and Elektronik's flash drive are in the chairman's house on Shoreline: the transcript under the mattress of the overturned bed, the drive on top of the shelf next to it. Both must be Found in Raid, and the payout lands once you hand over the pair — 300,000 Roubles, 315,000 with Intelligence Center Level 1, or 345,000 with Intelligence Center Level 2.

12. 12Wait for the information from Prapor

    Wait one to three hours, then ask Prapor about the plane on the trader screen. He asks whether you read the transcript: answer yes and you are paid, answer no and you are not. The reward is 300,000 Roubles, 315,000 with Intelligence Center Level 1, or 345,000 with Intelligence Center Level 2.

13. 13Retrieve the armored case · Find any additional clues

    The Armored case is tucked behind the cockpit of the crashed plane, and the optional Note from Mr. Kerman lies on the pilot's seat. Both need to be Found in Raid.

14. 14Keep the armored case for yourself or hand it over to Prapor

    This decision cannot be taken back, and the payout changes with it. Keep the armored case and you get 80,000 EXP, the Armored case itself, -0.3 reputation with Prapor and the Just Business achievement. Hand it straight over to Prapor for 80,000 EXP, 1,500,000 Roubles and the Man of His Word achievement. Say you never found it and hand it over anyway for 80,000 EXP, 1,000,000 Roubles and the same Man of His Word achievement.
